I wrote this song shortly after the 2025 inauguration. I was attending protests and feeling a sense of hopelessness, and decided to create something that would inspire people (including myself!) to stay strong and keep showing up.

 

We live in a time when the call to activism is clearer than it has ever been. And because of this, every single one of us has the power to change the course of history. As the abolitionist Theodore Parker (and later MLK) said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice". May we all do whatever we can to bring that justice to life.
