Music-based materials to help kids learn to communicate!
Lana has worked as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist since 2014. She currently serves kids from age 3 to 14 in the public school setting, and has also worked in private practice and clinical settings. Lana uses music on a daily basis to help kids learn new new words, concepts, and social emotional skills. She is passionate about using music as a tool to help kids learn and find their own voices.
During COVID Lana was seeing students on zoom and started creating song videos to support families. She deciced to share these resources more widely, and in 2022 she launched her youtube channel, "Musical Speech". She also sells digital materials to teachers, therapists and parents. Check out my digital teaching activities on Boom Learning! These materials target core vocabulary words, grammar, social emotional skills, and speech sound production (articulation). Most of the activities include interactive components as well as songs to support learning.
