I'll be joined by the amazing guitarist Justin Davis, who plays with the 5th Ave Theater and Village Theater bands. We'll be doing lots of fun classics (What a Wonderful World, Angel from Montgomery, etc).

Saturday July 25th, 2 pm to 2:45pm, Auburn Library
I'm leading this intergenerational singalong. We'll do lots of well known folk/pop songs, campfire style (sans the wildfires and burn ban). I'll also have instruments and shakers for kids (and/or fun adults:)). Singing is NOT required but very much welcome.

I'm singing folk/bluegrass music with 2 very talented women (my cousin Rachel and singer/songwriter friend Corey Edmonds). We'll be doing some Gillian Welch and other folk/bluegrass classics, plus some of our originals!

Musical Speech: Songs for Young Learners
Friday August 14th, 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, Muckleshoot Library (Auburn)
This will be an interactive and silly music class for young kids and their grown ups. I'll be introducing songs and strategies that I use as a speech therapist that support language development.

Intergenerational community singalong
Kingsgate Library, 10:30 am to 11:15 am (tickets not required)
Lana will be leading a singalong for all ages, featuring well known pop and folk songs. This event is free to all and young kids are very much welcome! Bring the young and the elderly people in your life. Lana will provide egg shakers and movement scarves for the kids. More information here.

Hold the Line: A Social Justice Singalong

Lana and her husband Brian will be performing and leading a sing-along of well known protest songs and social justice songs to raise support for Indivisible of Snohomish County. Tickets will be sold in advance (link coming soon)

Musical Speech: Songs for Early Childhood Language Development
Newport Way Library, 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM (free program)
Join Lana Van Boven, Speech Language Pathologist and musician, for an interactive and sensory-friendly session of music for young children. We will sing and play with scarves and instruments, and grown ups will learn strategies to help kids communicate through music.
